Cross Timbers Golf Course is laid out over undulating, rocky, rugged terrain, which offers some spectacular views. It has tree-lined fairways and slightly undulating greens. The par-72, 18 hole tract winds its way through the hilly, wooded land next to Ash Creek in the "Cross Timbers" area of north Texas. The design takes full advantage of this unique topography, with multiplte elevations changes that create a true “Hill Country†feel. Nowhere is this more evident than on the signature hole, #7. A 165-yard par 3, it requires a precise tee shot over a ravine to a green protruding on a cliff, surrounded by a natural rock wall.

Played Cross Timbers with coupon from Ideal Golfer ($20.xx includes cart/hamburger basket) GREAT DEAL. Course is in great shape from tee boxes - fairways - greens. Course is aggressive in maintaining its good condition as they will conduct fall maintenance after Labor Day with the current greens in Top Shelf Condition. Club Staff to include cart girl very friendly and professional. Rates are consistent with other clubs of similar layout in the NTX Area. Played in 3 hrs - you can't beat that. Go and play Cross Timbers.
